HOW TO GET TO FLEET & FARNBOROUGH CHESS CLUB

The venue for Fleet & Farnborough Chess Club is Cody Sports & Social Club, Cody Technology Park, Old Ively Road, Farnborough, Hants, GU14 0LP

Approaching from the south from Aldershot or Fleet on the A323

On the A323 from either Fleet or Aldershot, go over the Norris Bridge roundabout, which crosses the Basingstoke Canal, and turn right. Then turn immediately left off the roundabout into the road shown as a No Through Road (ignore the Private Road sign). Go through the metal gates with various notices on the edge of trees, up Old Ively Road and over the short hill. Turn left at the roadblock into the Cody sports complex on which the Clubhouse stands. Turn right after about 20 metres. Park by the floodlit tennis courts adjacent to the playing field. Walk down a pathway, alongside the hedge at the edge of the playing field, leading to the Clubhouse. Turn the corner of the Clubhouse and enter via glass double doors. Inside, the Chess Club is the first door on the left before the steps.

Approaching from the north from Farnborough or the M3 Motorway Junction 4A.

From either Farnborough or the M3, go to the southern end of the new Ively Road. At the Norris Bridge roundabout, which crosses the Basingstoke Canal, turn immediately left into the road shown as a No Through Road (ignore the Private Road sign). Do not cross the bridge.
