DIRECTIONS TO GODALIMNG CHESS CLUB

From the A3 Turn off at Milford Junction (Guildford and Godalming By-Pass) Turn left onto A3100 Portsmouth Road and follow this road towards Godalming. On the outskirts of Godalming turn left into Eashing Lane Take the fourth left into Franklyn Road (there is a sign at the junction for the venue); St Marks is located on the right just before Eashing Cemetery. From the A31 (Hogs Back) Turn off at the B3000, sign posted Godalming. Follow the road leftwards towards Godalming. Follow B3000 through Puttenham and along Puttenham Heath Road. At next roundabout go right, this takes you over the A3. Soon afterwards you come to another roundabout, turn left here. You are still on the B3000. Godalming is well sign posted from here. . At the next roundabout turn right. You are now in Compton. Carry on along this road; eventually you will pass Furze Lane on your right. Soon after this there is a slight incline as the road goes over a railway line. You will then come to Guildford Crematorium; at the roundabout turn right (A3100) towards Godalming Town Centre. At the next roundabout go straight on into Bridge Road (you will pass the Fire Station on your left). At the next roundabout on the outskirts of the town centre turn left and continue to follow the A3100 along Flambard Way and then into Ockford Road. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout (The Inn On The Lake is on your left). The road curves and you pass under a railway bridge. Soon after this turn right into Eashing Lane.. Take the fourth left into Franklyn Road (there is a sign at the junction for the venue); St Marks is located on the right just before Eashing Cemetery. From A3100 (Guildford) If coming via Guildford follow the A3100 towards Godalming up the Portsmouth Road. Continue along this road, past the College of Law and past the signs for Mount Browne (Surrey Police HQ). Go straight on at the next three roundabouts, then past a petrol station on the left. At the next roundabout go straight ahead and follow the A3100 into central Godalming (Guildford Crematorium is to your right). At the next roundabout go straight on into Bridge Road (you will pass the Fire Station on your left). At the next roundabout on the outskirts of the town centre turn left and continue to follow the A3100 along Flambard Way and then into Ockford Road. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout.
